What TradeScoper does

TradeScoper is an AI-powered tool that helps generate Scopes of Work and Quotes for building and home improvement projects.

We are a technology platform. We are not a construction company, a surveyor, or a legal advisor. We do not carry out any building work, and we do not supervise or take responsibility for any work arranged through the platform.

What our AI generates

The Scopes of Work and Quotes generated by TradeScoper are AI-assisted starting points. They are based on the information you provide to us.

They are not professional surveys, structural assessments, or legally binding contracts.

Always check the output makes sense for your specific situation before relying on it or sharing it with others.

Your responsibility as a customer

You are responsible for checking that any Scope of Work accurately reflects what you need done. TradeScoper cannot inspect your property.

If you are in doubt about any technical recommendation, seek independent professional advice before proceeding.

Your responsibility as a tradesperson

You are responsible for your own pricing, workmanship, compliance with Building Regulations, health and safety obligations, and any other professional or legal requirements.

A TradeScoper quote is a pricing tool. You remain fully responsible for the work you carry out and any contract you enter into with a customer.

TradeScoper is not a party to your contract

Any agreement reached between a customer and a tradesperson through TradeScoper is solely between those two parties.

TradeScoper has no involvement in, and accepts no responsibility for, the performance, quality, or outcome of any work arranged through the platform.

Our liability

We do our best to make TradeScoper useful and accurate. But we cannot guarantee the AI will always get it right.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, TradeScoper accepts no liability for:

• Losses arising from errors or omissions in AI-generated documents.
• Disputes between customers and trades.
• Any consequential loss arising from use of the platform.

Acceptable use

Use TradeScoper honestly and for its intended purpose.

Don't try to manipulate the AI, share other people's information without permission, or use the platform for anything illegal or harmful.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we'll ask you to confirm acceptance again.

Continued use of the platform means you accept the current terms.
